Sameera Saneesh is a renowned costume designer from India known for her creativity, attention to detail, and ability to capture the essence of a character through clothing. Born and raised in Kerala, India, Sameera developed a passion for fashion and design at an early age. She pursued her interest by studying fashion design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology in Cochin. 

After completing her studies, Sameera started her career as an assistant costume designer in the Indian film industry. She quickly rose through the ranks and established herself as a sought-after designer. She has worked on numerous blockbuster films, including Daddy Cool, Salt and Pepper, Ustad Hotel, Thattathin Marayathu, Pranayam, Charlie, Kammarasambhavam, Athiran, Pranchiyettan and the Saint and Ayisha among others.

Sameera is known for her ability to seamlessly blend traditional Indian clothing with modern designs. Her work has been lauded for its attention to detail and authenticity, with many of her costumes becoming iconic in Indian cinema. Her designs have also been showcased on international platforms, including the Cannes Film Festival.

In addition to her work in film, Sameera has also designed costumes for theatre productions and advertisements. She has received several awards for her work, including the Kerala state Award for Best Costume Design. She also holds the Limca book of records for “designing costumes for large number of films in a very short span of time”
